### A full service, eCommerce enabled site requires your web hosting server to support CF (Cold Fusion) 5 or MX. If a payment processor other than PayPal is used, the host will be required to support Secure Socket Layering (SSL) for secure cart and transactions.

A full service eCommerce site will also require host database support in the form of MS Access, MySQL or MS SQL. There is generally a monthly administration fee to host an SQL database.

Unless utilizing a PayPal IPN+++, an internet merchant account for real time credit card processing is required for a full service eCommerce site. An SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is not strictly required, but DLR Web Design will not implement or support an eCommerce site without one. An SSL ensures the customer a safe, secure, encrypted transaction. These third party services vary in price and are not sold or regulated through DLR Web Design; however, DLR Web Design can help you acquire them.

+++ PayPal Instant Payment Notification allows a merchant to implement a full service shopping cart on their site while using PayPal as the secure payment processor. PayPal's IPN allows integration of PayPal payments with the merchant's website back-end operations.
