Where do we start?
|
-
The first
thing you do is decide on what kind of approach you'd
like to take in presenting your company on the web
- a basic concept. Do you have a color scheme in mind?
Are there any colors you won't tolerate? We'll have
a questionnaire you
can fill out to help you. You'll also need to discuss
the details of the site with your IT person or project
manager. We will provide you with details of the required
components if you are enabling an eCommerce solution.
You will then need to determine if your current server
is a suitable host for your new site.
-
You then
gather information that is representative of your company.
This includes relevant text, brochures, catalogues,
staff biographies, pictures. As much as possible should
be in an electronic format. i.e. all images scanned,
all text in a doc, txt or html format. We will also
need your hosting server's FTP information if you retain
your curent host. If you plan an eCommerce business,
all product information must be provided including
pricing,
shipping
methods,
shipping costs, taxable items, product images, inventory
numbers and item or ISBN numbers.
-
Once DLR
Web Design receives the data you send, design and construction
of your site will begin immediately.
-
You will
be presented with samples of the design, and you may
ask for changes and make suggestions.
-
When the
site is completed it will be uploaded and tested. You
will then continue to review
your new site for any additional changes you'd like
to make. This
process will go back and forth between you and DLR
until the site meets with your approval.
-
As soon
as you have approved the site and we have received
final payment, your site will go live.
Have a look around and familiarize yourself with our services.
When you're ready, you may fill out our questionnaire.
